About the Trick Bag
| Hi, I’m Richard Knudson — Welcome to the Dynamics CRM Trick Bag: my blog about how you can use, customize, and generally get the most out of Dynamics CRM. | ![]() |
Professionally, I major in Dynamics CRM and minor in SharePoint, assisting clients in realizing the business-changing potential of the CRM/XRM platform. I run the Dynamics CRM practice at Magenium Solutions, an IT consulting firm located in beautiful Wheaton, IL. We work with a mix of small-medium and enterprise clients, providing a range of services including planning & design, data migration, configuration, customization, and training.
Recently I was recognized by Microsoft with its Microsoft® MVP Award for 2011. Here’s my MVP profile page.
When I’m not working on client projects, I might be putting the finishing touches on my upcoming book, “Building Business Processes in Dynamics CRM 2011″.
You can email me at richard.knudson@magenium.com, or follow me on Twitter, where I tweet new articles. Here’s my Linkedin profile, and here’s my YouTube channel for my straight-to-video work. Also, my blog recently got picked up for syndication on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM community site. Here’s the URL for the RSS feed for the blog: http://www.dynamicscrmtrickbag.com/feed/
And, if you really like my site, please help me spread the word about it. Since I’m the helpful type, I’ll provide some helpful suggestions on how you can help:
- Link to the Trick Bag from your site (that’s http://www.DynamicsCRMTrickBag.com )
- Write a mini-review on www.StumbleUpon.com by following this link:

- Write a testimonial on our super-easy-to-use testimonial page.
On a personal note, thanks to Todd Shelton, I’ve got the coolest family crest ever:
85% of the articles on the Trick Bag are about Dynamics CRM, 10% on SharePoint…and once in a while I’ll slip in a personal article, likely about the White Sox or my daughter Bridget, or both. When I do that I’ll provide a warning at the beginning, in the interest of full disclosure, transparency and all that.
Enjoy!
Richard Knudson
