Second Beach

Warning: this article has nothing to do with Dynamics CRM

I was reviewing draft (unpublished) posts and came across this one. On a dreary Chicago mid-March day, last August seems like a long time ago. Especially when I look at these pictures I took as Bridget & I went for an early morning walk on Second Beach. Second Beach is at La Push, a beautiful spot on the Washington coast, about 10 miles west of Forks. (And a few miles north of Moclips.)

In the first couple shots of Bridget, if you’re familiar with Washington coast geography, you can tell the sun’s rising. We timed our walk just right so we didn’t have to worry about vampires or werewolves interrupting us.

If you look carefully at the next few shots you can tell it’s getting a little bit lighter in each one. Later in the day we went for a walk with my sister Carol and her daughter Lena, and we actually saw an eagle dive and take a salmon from the crest of a wave. (You’ll have to take my word on that; as much as I like my iPhone, I can’t say it’s got the greatest camera!)
