Yes, there's a Reassign Records command available from the ribbon on the user form. Let me know how it works for you, and thanks for reading!

Can we assign all entities records(contact, account, lead etc...) of one user to another user at one time?

what if I want to set the whole team as users - it is too complicated to have it any other way - also duplicates is a nightmare - I want to create ownership is the whole team - so I can set the outlook duplicates setting to no one can create a contact with the same first name and last name and email address - so do duplicate from out look sync - too much brain damage - any suggestions?

Excellent summary as ever, thanks Richard.

Just a final thought regarding queues, I think it is worth pointing out that when someone accepts an item such as a case or task from a queue, this is when the owner changes to their user account and is finally 'assigned'.
I describe to users that when they assign to a queue they are still the owner as it is up to them to follow it up if no-one monitoring that queue actually picks it up. Only once it is picked up does ownership pass across (in CRM terms and in responsibility terms).
